School Development

We are excited to announce plans for a new development at Finton House, work on which is expected to commence in April 2012.  There are no plans to increase pupil numbers at the school; the aim is to improve the learning environment for our existing pupils.

The new building which would mainly be sited underneath the playground is designed to provide purpose built rooms for Science, Music, Design Technology and Learning Support, freeing up space in our existing main building for improved classrooms.

With planning approved the project has now gone out to tender and it is hoped that the Board of Governors will be able to give the project the go-ahead in early March.
